Asiana Airlines Exit Star Alliance

Asiana Airlines (OZ) will merge with Korean Air (KE) and will officially leave Star Alliance on 16 December 2026. As a result, the partnership between Royal Orchid Plus and Asiana Club will also end on the same date.

Please note the following changes:

Earn Miles

• Royal Orchid Plus members may accrue miles on eligible Asiana Airlines-operated flights completed on or before 15 October 2026.
• Flights operated from 16 October 2026 onwards will no longer be eligible for mileage accrual to Royal Orchid Plus accounts.
• Retro mileage claims for eligible flights must be submitted by 31 October 2026.

Award Redemption

• Royal Orchid Plus members may redeem miles for Asiana Airlines Award flights departing on or before 16 December 2026 only.

• Award tickets for Asiana Airlines-operated flights will not be valid for travel from 17 December 2026 onwards.

Star Alliance Gold Benefits

Royal Orchid Plus Platinum and Gold members can enjoy applicable Star Alliance Gold benefits when travelling with Asiana Airlines operated flights until 16 December 2026.
